I have a 12 x 6 hole in my stucco wall. What is the best way to repair it? Is goes all the way to my kitchen main plumbing, as in I can look at the big copper pipe from outside. Thanks for the help. Christine

The proper way to repair a hole that large is to cut out a section that will enable a new lathe/plaster patch to be supported by the studs in your wall. To make the repair right, all of the steps that are needed to install the patch are the same as that which was used to build the wall when it was first built.
