View Full Version : How can you tell if a relationship is becoming serious?

Aside from actually coming out with each other and having a talk, are there some signs that show a casual dating relationship is taking on a more exclusive, serious tone?

The girl I've been seeing now for 2 months is great, and I think she has a lot of potential as a girlfriend but I'm not ready for a committed, serious relationship yet. I'm not sure what she wants and I don't want to discuss it yet (in fear of what she'll want/don't want) but I think there are signs that should tell me although I'm sort of oblivious.

Any ideas?

Nothing is better then a down to earth discussion to clear the air no matter what outcome you feel you want. It is best to stay above board I would think. You say you fear what shedoes/doesnt want, but that's life my friend. You can take the good with the bad.

I agree with tickle.

Communication is key.

Ok... fair enough.

But what about the other stuff? Like, asking to shower together, or looking at childhood photos or cooking for each other and sleeping over?
