Everyday I zone out, Everyhwere. When I walk down the halls I'm just thinking of other stuff kind of in a cloud state of mind. It happens when someone is trying to tell me something like I can kind of hear what they are saying but not completely. Its even gotton to the point where I say things to people when I am not even paying attention to what I am saying that when the person tells me what I just said I just say " What I said that nuh uh" or "What I said that but I don't even remember saying it" the second after I said it.

When doing my homework I'll just stop to just zone out for a while and don't even notice till I actually have half of my mind unclouded to realize what I've been doing. My friend has gotton angry at me before because she tried to ask me a question but I couldn't hear her but she was right next to me! (I don't even have hearing problems!! )

I want to know what is up? Why am I like this? And How do I stop it?

Yea when people are talking to me I zonk out and somehow I got the tendency to say awsome... and its gotten me in trouble because I'm not listening and my friend will say something sad or something that made them mad and ill say awsome and they know I'm having another one of my zone out spells... I really don't know what to do about it... iw as given medicine for it but I don't take that... but I work with art so my zoning out works well for me because that's when I get my ideas

Wow could be so many things. Hard to say without asking and you answering a lot of questions. It could be as simple as stress or as complicated as a neurological issue. If this has been going on for any real length of time I would say go see your family doctor. They could really help sort through all the answers you would need to provide to decide.

You might have ADD or ADHD. You should talk to your doctor about it. I had similar problems for many years and I have improved quite a bit since being diagnosed.

Here is a list of symptoms (just the first that came up in Google, you should do more research yourself if it sounds familiar to you):

What are the symptoms of attention deficit disorder add adhd? (http://www.add-adhd-help-center.com/symptoms_add_adhd.htm)

It could also be depression, as that can cause you to have touble concentrating as well.
