For unknown reasons, my computer has decided not to show my D: drive and can't even find it for that matter. I don't know make, model blah, blah blah, of the HD so it's hard for me to tell you all that info stuff.
So how can I find the D: drive, so the computer knows it's there? I did try add remove hardware, but then again I'd need to know what type of HD it is =/

Makes it hard huh?

well any help would be appretiated... thanks

Does it even run it? It amy be as simple as a loose connection, that or it fried, but I'd like to lean towards connections right now

Yes, my other HD does run, I was playing some game that's installed on that drive earlier today, then "poof" it was missing when I went to go dl something. In any case I'll just check it out see if it's a loose connection.

And no the problam wasn't caused by the dl either... said specified drive unavailable, dl was not saved

Did you check the CMOS setup to see if tis recognized as a secondary drive there? If its not there check the cables. If the cables are all good, could be drive failure.

I had this happen when I installed a Windows utility like FreshUI or TwaekUI that allows you to hide drive letters. Some installs actually do this automatically. Maybe you have one of these programs installed?
