OK, here's the deal... I hope speedball answers... that guy knows his stuff! Anyway, I'm living here in NYC (very expensive), and my girlfriend and I and my buddy and his wife want to buy a duplex apt... duplex probably means different things in different places, but here it means that it's two floors but only one kitchen.. it can have two bathrooms (and the one we buy will), but it will most likely have a living room, a kitchen and a bath on one floor, and a bedroom and a bath on the other floor...

We can't officially install a second kitchen, but unoffically, it's fine... so we'll just get a fridge and a micro and a hotplate thingie and build some counterspace for our second kitchen, but we still need the second kitchen sink... so my question is can we somehow hook into the plumbing of one of the bathroom sinks or into the kitchen sink to get water for the second kitchen sink?

Any help would really be appreciated!

Growler's a top notch plumber along with the other experts on this page. They are probably more up on code then I since I've been retired since 1988 and just keep up on the local ones. Having said that let me know a little bit more anout your lay out. Do you have a wall, Kitchen or Bathroom, that the new sink can back up to? If not how close can you get? If you'll give me some details I'll give you some options. Regards, Tom
