My Puppy is almost 9 weeks old. He is finally starting to actually walk when we take him out, the problem I have now is that he is peeing a lot. He goes when I walk him then he will go 3 more times in my house within an hour. I am giving him about 1/2 a cup of water
3x"s a day with his food and I give him about 2/3 a cup in between each meal. He will drink the water until it is gone and the bowl is DRY! So I think that he is thirsty. Is this too much water?
If you don't think that is too much... how often should the dog be walked?
Thanks for your help

That doesn't sound like too much water. I usually just leave the water dish out and don't track how much water the puppy is drinking. With some puppies, I have had to put it up in the early evening. I hope you aren't adding water to a dry dog chow. Dogs need the dry chow for their teeth and jaws. It also helps keep the teeth clean. At 9 weeks, a puppy shouldn't have any trouble eating a dry chow.

It sounds like you could use the housebreaking material in the sticky at https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/dogs/information-articles-our-dogs-expert-labman-53153.html#post251809

The sticky discusses how to tell when the dog needs to go out. It can be several times an hour with a 9 week old.
