I want to do this home business thing where you send out letters for companies and every one you mail you get $2 an envelope. I was wondering is this a good opportunity because I really want to do it, it is easy money

That's not very descriptive of the job, but as a general rule there is no such thing as easy money. When I was searching for tele-commuting work (When I was staying home with my daughter), I saw a lot of mailing jobs. Generally what they want you to do is mail ads out, and when they get a reply you get paid. You have to supply the mailing list.

It sounds like a great idea. But remember the running expenses that will cut into your profit (like stamps, envelopes, paper, ink, mechanical repairs, etc... ) judging that you have to provide everything, and the company provies the texts.

So, in short, expect between 30-70% profit, or something thereabouts, judging that you have clients right away.

Whoever, or whatever entity this employer or company for whom you would be working for is, I would first do a Google search by putting the name of the company in and also the word scam after the name of the company in the search. Then I would put in the word scams after the name of the company. Chances are, if it is some kind of scam that has been around for awhile, then something should show up in the search.

Please be very careful about who you get involved with concerning things that appear to be capable of making you "easy money."

It is possible that the operation of sending out things in the envelopes could be legit. But, I've never known of one that didn't have some kind of "catch" invloved with it.

Almost ALL of the time, the "envelope stuffing" things are a huge scam. Either they ask for a small "start up fee," and you never see anything from them, or the money you send them is used to purchase a simple bulk-mailing address list.

From there, after receiving the list, you are to stuff, mail, and publish (print) your own paperwork to stuff INTO the envelopes. Then you wait. And wait some more. What you're waiting on is a response from the ad you've mailed out, and the whole thing starts over again with YOU being the one instructing OTHER people to do the same as you, so that you can get "paid" for supplying another list to the people you've sent the letters out to. It's nothing but a racket.

I would ask for more info and speak to someone on the phone about the "opportunity" if I were you.
