 My friend has been acting distant lately. Not just with me, but with a lot of people. I try to always be an encouragement to her, and she says I am, but this time I feel otherwise. As far as I'm concerned, I haven't done a thing to her to make her feel bad. So my question is: what can I do to help her come back around, and how do I make her feel good about herself once again?

Your friend obviously has something going on that she is not ready to share with you just be patient she will come round.

If she has something that she can't talk about suggest her writing a letter. Perhaps you could start by writing one which says you have noticed she is acting differently and you are worried about her, although if she doesn't want to talk to you she doesn't have to.
Then she will know that she has been noticed and that you care - even if she decides not to take you up on this offer.
I find letter writing to be a great help for senisitve situations when sometimes talking is too difficult/ confrontational.

Good luck

Agree with both other members.

If she wants to share she will.
If not, then she obviously has her reasons.

Be patient and give it some more time.
You are apparently not the only one she treats with a certain distance.

Just be there for her when she needs you.

Good luck.

Let her know you are there for her when she is ready to talk and give her some time. But if you feel as though she's sinking into depression you may want to explain to her how you feel and encourage her to get help.
