Helloo :o

I have a new kitten, her name is Auni

She's so adorable and tiny, but she acts kind of strange sometimes.

Im not particularly worried, just curious.

Sometimes, she puts her back in the air (kind of like those cartoony black cats when their angry) and walks sideways, like a hermit crab. It's actually quite funny.

Why does she do this?

Also, she howls very loudly if she's left in a room alone or if she can't see anyone. Will she grow out of this?

Thankies :)

My little 'previous barn cat' acted the same way "like a hermit crab" but only around her buddy the dog. She was only 8 months at the time but grew out of. It is only play acting with them, testing borders, etc. Just love her to death and give her her own space at the same time. Cats are people animals and need the interaction, so don't lock her in a room by herself, it is not conducive to a good feline/human relationship.

That is just one of those silly cat things kittens do. They are so cute until they decide to pounce on your feet at 3 am or climb your new silk curtains.

Before you know it you will have a full grown cat that seems to sleep 23.5 hours a day (maybe that is just my cat, though!)
