I am installing a new whirlpool tub in place of an existing conventional tub. The old sink drain terminates into a concrete slab. The new sink drain will be at least 2 feet from the old. What are my options? Is there anyway of tieing in the new drain into the old drain without taking up all the concrete and totally relocating the existing plumbing?

Need more info. Does the pipe come up between the walls or in the middle of the room?

The existing drain comes up from the middle of the floor and looks to be buried about 6 inches into the concrete. There appears to be a vent that comes off just downstream of this drain. My new whirlpool tub has a center drain so it is obviously nowhere near the existing drain. My initial thoughts were to raise the level of the new tub a few inches and just drain into the existing drain using flexible pvc but don't want to do this if it will create problems.

Anyone with ideas?

The only problem I see is clogging if you don't come up far enough to allow long radius bends. Do not use standard pressure elbows, but the flexible PVC or DVW ells.
