Okay, so I'm 16 and me and my boyfriend are trying to have a baby. We tried for 3 months... and this time I didn't get my period. I have pretty much 1/2 the early symptoms. Missed period, nausea, tender breast, bloating, fatigue, and frequent urination. My period was suppose to come on May 5th, but its now may 9th... and nothing. I NEVER have missed a period... ever! I took a test today, and it came negative... what is going on here? Why does it come up like that, and all this is happening to me? Like I was stressed the other day about stuff, but does that really make a difference? Like I get stressed at some point monthly, and I get my period when I'm suppose to. I kind of want to go to the doctor to get a blood test, but I was wondering if they do that at the ob-gyn. Can someone sort of help me out perhaps?

*kay-LaLa**:(

Hey my name is catie.

I have a question
When was the last time you had sex with him?
If it was like 2 weeks ago it may be to early to know.
Not all test work too.
Yeah if you do miss a period you may but it may because you have been stressed.
Your only 4 days late.
Wait another week and then take another test.

May I ask why on earth are you so desperate to conceive while you are so young?

You have plenty of time ahead of you.

I would look into pseudocyesis, or false pregnancy, is rare, occurring at a rate of 1 to 6 for every 22,000 births.
Those who suffer from the disorder present a constellation of symptoms that mystify even seasoned practitioners. Not only do they fervently believe they are pregnant, but they also have bona fide symptoms to back up their claims, like cessation of menstruation, abdominal enlargement, nausea and vomiting, breast enlargement and food cravings.

It's normal to want a baby. I have loved babies and wished for one of my own since I was very young. I waited till I had finished my education so that I could give a baby a stable life. I would tell you to wait and have a baby when you are a little older, but you have most likely heard that warning before you even started trying to have a baby. My advice to you is that you will make a plan as to how you are going to care for this child's medical and nutritional needs. The states do have programs that will help you with your child's needs. I believe you will get pregnant (unless you parents are filling your food with BC). Keep in mind drug and alcohol consumption on ether side can slow the process. I hope your decision results in your happiness.
