Not if the legal drinking age is 21 where you are.

No. Your relationship has some issues already. Drinking is not a good idea on top of the age difference and the fact that you are terribly young to be married. Knowing you are 18, your husband should not drink, either, until you can legally join him and if he offers you alcohol, he is committing a crime.

No I am sorry the child preditor can not take you out to a bar if the drinking age is 21.

I am in agreement w/Fr_Chuck my dear. Why would he even want to take you out drinking? If he loves and respects you he wouldn't be out drinking w/or w/out you.

OK... there is no harm in going out and having a drink.
It's all about the balance... right ?

The fact that malmatar is 18 and her husband is 38 is not our business...
She just asks advice whether it is legal for her to go into a bar.

Instead of asking us if it is legally right for you to go out drinking with your husband - why not call your local police department and ask what the legal drinking age is in your state? Doesn't your husband know the legal age? Here it is 21, in other states it is 18. Check your local resources first.
