I'm installing a new shower diverter and seat. Do I need a special tool to remove the seat?

I'm installing a new shower diverter and seat. Do I need a special tool to remove the seat?

A screwdriver will do but they do make a seat removal tool, (see image). The seat has a square sided opening,(see image) that a screwdriver or removal tool will fit and then simply back it out counterclockwise. Good luck, Tom
