Could metoprolol succ er make my tongue thick and make it difficult to swallow?
Metoprolol is a Beta Blocker used as an antihypertensive and/or antianginal. The most common severe side effects are: Insomnia, dizziness, depression, bradycardia (slow heartbeat), CHF, cardiac arrest. AV block, pulmonary edema, and chest pain.
I do not see that it will make your tongue thick, but can cause a sore throat and dry mouth.
