The next day at school I got the cold shoulder until one of my guy friends said he was sorry for not being nicer and I said I was liar and shouldnot have done that my best told me if I didn't stop soon she was going to punch me in the face! And she meant it! But those two kind of reactions helped me realized who I hurt and what the wrong was that I did . Your on the right track of even being able to admit you have a problem. The only thing and best thing for you to do is ask your parents to sit and talk with you. Tell them that you have a problem and you want to fix it. They will be proud of you.
Next, they will need to get you into counseling. Let a professional help you. It will take some time.
If you can't go to your parents, the next best person is a counselor at your school.
Good Luck and God bless

A lot of kids tell lies, tell stories and exaggerate. Almost all of them grow out of it and you will too. Especially now with the rude awakening you just had. So now that you are aware of it and the consequences, it's time to stop. It's time to grow up, sweetie. And don't be afraid to let your mum know how sorry you are and that you are working to be more responsible for your actions - that would be the grown up thing to do.

Try and figure out first what is the real reason that you are lying. At some point it has served you purpose (not that's is Ok).. But could you be doing it for attention? Could you being doing it out of boredom? Are you afraid of what people may think if you are honest? But do not make excuses, wake up every day and look for opportunities to be honest, instead of opportunities to lie. Like any other compulsion, it takes time to break, but it is completely possible. Do not worry right now if you tell the truth that it will hurt someone's feelings. You can gain a lot of respect back by just telling one truth at a time, and your past lies will become a thing of the past.

I agree with Krystal...

You may be lying because you want and/or need more attention from your parents or just attn from anyone. Are your parents giving you the attn that you need? Your parents may not be doing the right thing by punishing you and not looking in to what is going on in your life and this very well could be there fault. Taking away your electronics, etc is NOT going to help you, I know this for a fact and they need to look into the source of the problem. You need to think about why you lie and what effect it has, do you get high off lying? I know that this sounds weird but it could be that you like the effect or it could be that you are so used to lying that you can't stop. You need to get help before you get older and get in to a LOT of trouble. Lying can cause problems in your future big time!

Everything has consequences. Just remember that whatever choices you make, good or bad that they affect other people. Even when you don't think so. You need try really hard to be aware of what you are saying and how you are saying it at all times. If you catch yourself lying at that moment then you need to admit to it and correct it. If you can think of any lies that you've told that might be still hanging over you, now is the time to come clean. You'll earn more respect that way and in time your parents will trust you again if they see you trying.

First try analyzing why u got to lie in the first place. Everybody makes mistakes so don't try to cover it by lying. Be honest with your feelings and learn to respect yourself. Think before acting, take responsibility for your actions, remember that a lie can save face only for a short time but when the truth is out you would be ashamed to face others and will loose yourself confidence in dealing with others. If you think you still can't control yourself lying please seek professional help right away. There is a solution to every problem!
