My husband takes 600mg of lyrica a day and has been recently gaining weight. He says he is hungry all the time and eats every meal like it is his last meal! Has anyone experienced this before?

Unfortunately weight gain and fluid retention are common side effects of this medication which is used as an anticonvulsant and has an investigational use for General Anxiety Disorder, moderate pain, and Social Anxiety Disorder.

If he is gaining too much weight, a doctor's visit would be in order.
