My ac suddenly stopped working. The digital thermostat works and looks normal, the batteries are fresh in it, the fuse is fine. The wires all appear to be connected but my fan won't come on at all. Everything seems normal like it should be blowing but it won't click at all. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

First, is this a gas furnace, air handler etc.? Do you have power to the furnace? Does the fan come on if you switch the T-Stat to ON contuious fan?

The furnace is gas. The AC unit is a Payne. No, the fan doesn't come on either on continuous or auto.

Make sure the furnace has power. Do you own a voltage meter?

No, we don't own a voltage meter to check it. We'll try to get our hands on one and do that, then I will let you know what we find out. Thanks.

Thanks for your help hvacservicetech_07, it turned out it was loose wiring and we were able to fix it today. It is now nice and cool in the house once again. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. :)
