Tell her that you're sorry for her loss.

For her, to conceive after trying so hard, and then to lose, AGAIN... she probably is hurting very badly.

Ask if there is anything you can do, and offer condolences, and then LISTEN if she wants to talk. Don't try to empathize if you haven't gone through it. Trying to come up with a way that you've hurt as badly as she has (as in... I know how you feel! Once I... ") is the absolute WRONG thing to say.

Just tell her you're sorry, and let her tell you what she needs from there.

Just let her know that you are there if she wants to talk about it and if she doesn't that is okay, too.

A miscarriage is about as horrible as you might expect it to be. Besides the grief of loss, her hormones will be all out of whack. Don't hold it against her if she is a little mood-swingy.

Just tell her you love her and be there for her when she wants to talk, be there for her when she wants to sit in silence...
