Hello, I am new to the site, so this is my first post (I hope its in the right section) Well, the problem is, is that I recently moved my computer from 1 room the other. While I was doing this, I tried to put in some RAM and a diskdrive. I was able to get the Drive in, but the RAM didn't fit. Once I put it back together, I couldn't get a signal from the monitor. I tried everything I could think of and Im not the smart about comps so I don't know what to do. I thought it was the monitor, so I took an extra one I had and hooked it up to my comp but it didn't work... So I know its my computer. Help :)

Hi, It could be the new RAM which you have added to your system. You should buy the RAM according to the specifications of your system and the processor you are using. Give the details of your system to the shop from whom you bought the RAM to replace it accordingly.

Yes, but I removed the RAM, wanting to worry about it later, and the computer still wouldn't work.

Try takeing out all the ram and adding them back one at a time

When you added the ram you could have accidentally bumped the video card. Remove it and reseat it and see if that works.
