I'm addicted to pot. I have been for about two years now. I don't feel like it interferes with my life too much and that's probably why I have so much trouble quitting. I get board and fatigued and it seems like an easy solution. Is there any tips for quitting. I know I am capable of it but most times its just too easy to light up and say I'm cutting back. I need some motivation and being busy doesn't help because it gives me a reason to unwind with a smoke.

You don't want to give it up. So, in your head, why should you give it up?

Symptoms of Marijuana Addiction:

Marijuana tolerance:
Either need for markedly increased amounts of marijuana to achieve intoxication, or markedly diminished effect with continued use of the same amount of marijuana.
Greater use of marijuana than intended:
Marijuana taken in larger amounts or over a longer period than was intended.
Unsuccessful efforts to cut down or control marijuana use.
A great deal of time spent in using marijuana
Marijuana use causing a reduction in social, occupational or recreational activities.
Continued marijuana use despite knowing it will cause significant problems.

Is this you?

You can stop but you will need professional help. It is true that some can just quit and be done with it, but many cannot do that. If you are truly desiring to quit smoking pot, then I do hope you receive help.

If it doesn't interfere with your life.. then why quit? Sorry I might just be too high, but I just don't get it.Pot is gods solution to boredom and just about everything. You DO NOT need professional help so don't listen to any douche bag telling you that you do.

Someone said this and I totally agree.. "when you try and stop
you just realise how lame your current situation is
and smoke again"
