I want to install a utility sin kin my laundry room. It is a new home and I am not sure what I need to do to add a sink in there. How do I do the plumbing?

If it is a new home, haven't they provided a capped off pipe in the designated laundry area; I would assume that is for a laundry tub beside your washing machine.

I am not at the house but, if there is a capped off pipe there is that for the water or the drainage? I am very new to all of this...

Munchkin,

Look next to your washer box and let me know if there isn't a PVC stubout and two 1/2" pipes on either side of it. This will be a laundry tray rough in. If not do you want us to walk you though the installation? If yes, a picture would be helpful. Regards, Tom

Thanks so much... I will be at the house tomorrow and I will take pictures. Your help is much appreciated.
