OK I have a 94 prelude I just put a 91 accord motor in but I used the prelude wiring harness (h23 dohc) so it's the samething as a 92 accord harness . The 91 has a internal coil and 92 has external and that's what I need but I was told that I could use the 91 but I would have to leave the coil pluged in so I wouldn't get a motor light will this work ?

Since the distributor has internal connections from the coil, the internal coil will have to be the active coil. Where is the ignition module? The wire running from it to the primary of the coil must be connected to the internal one, and also, that coil must be grounded. Likely the wires that went to the external coil will have to go to the internal one.

See that's what I would think but I talk to a guy that builds only preludes/accords he said it would work here's an email he send me
You asked:
"will this work for my 94 prelude ? it has a 91 accord motor but it has a si 2.3(h23) harness so it has a external coil... will i have to wire anything up ?"
That distributor will bolt right up to your F22 engine no problem. Just keep the external coil wire harness connected and just disconnect the distributor harness and reconnect the 91 , bolt it on and you will now have an internal coil distributor. The easiest way is to just leave the old coil where it mountsn this will bypass any rewiring inside the distributor. No difference in wiring harness.
He said the leave the external there .(pluged to the harness) so the engine light don't come on . So do you think it will work ?
