In your opinion, what is the theme of T.S. Eliot's "The Waste Land". Is it a series of metaphors to describe human existence? Does it express the disillusionment of the time (The Age of Anxiety)? Is it a profound critque of the spiritual barrenness of the modern world? Please share your thoughts.

It really depends on one's own experience as to what one sees in the poem. This site may help you --
