Hi what lists the firm's assets as well as claims against those assets?

A balance sheet list assets, maybe not specifically one by one, and it lists liabilities, also not specifically, not one by one. On a balance sheet assets might be shown as accounts receivable and liabilities as accounts payble. A bankruptcy filing may show assets specifically and claims that creditors have against an asset. Maybe you could give us some more specific info to better answer.
