I am looking for an old Animated Cartoon although it does not start animated. It is about a young boy named Milo ( as I remember at least) and he has an argument with his mother. Then when in his room he seens a magic red box or something he goes into it and ends up a cartoon. Later through the cartoon he meets many different types of caracters such as 2 brothers in royalty who always dissagree and a cave that only opens by using math. Milo is sent on a mission to find the two sisters Rhym and Reason. Also Milo has a dog who helps him through his mission. I believe that it has been shown on cartoon network although I am not sure for my granmother taped it for me. It would be very helpful if someone new the title of this movies any sugestions would do Thanks. :)

I know this story! It is the story of the Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. It was originally a book, but in 1970 it was made into an animated film. You can find it on Amazon.com. I hope this is the right film!

Just want to say thanks for giving the correct result to my search, I also wanted to find the name of this movie. And yes, his name is Milo and it was on Cartoon Network. I remember when he first enters the box he gets pulled over and asks the cop for a short sentence, the cop makes his sentence "I am," the shortest sentence he knew. Love it!
