Hello Horselover! I don't believe we have any veterinarians on this site. I could be wrong, but I have never seen a veterinarian answering questions in the pets forum.
I am assuming you posted because you are thinking of becoming a veterinarian? Well, this world always need good vets. It would be a wonderful career choice.
Do you have pets? If so, you should contact your pets' veterinarian. Ask him/her if they will make some time available to speak with you because you have questions. I am sure they would be more than willing to help you. You should ask if they have any jobs you can do during the summer. Or, you can contact your local Humane Society, ASPCA, or Animal Rescue in your area, and find out if they have any summer jobs available. It may be as an unpaid volunteer, but you can learn a lot. They usually have vets on staff and you can ask that vet your questions.:)

Hi Future Vet! I love your Avitar! Unfortunately, as I stated to horselover, at the moment we don't have any vets here on this site. We have number of technicians and trainers, but no actual vets.
Here is a link I found that you both may find useful:
Veterinarian - Career Brief (http://careerplanning.about.com/od/occupations/p/veterinarian.htm)
Other than that, I can't find anything else at the moment. Not know what kind of project you are doing, and what you are trying to accomplish, I would suggest getting all your questions together and start calling all the veterinarian offices in your area. Explain what you are doing and ask you can set up an appointment to interview the veterinarians on staff. I am sure you will find a few willing to share their info and knowledge. Good Luck!
