Hi,
I have a 2" cast iron DWV stack for the kitchen that has a tee in the basement for the washer and laundry sink that has let go. The threads on the tee are pretty much gone; house > 70 years old.

Will a donut work in this case? If not, any other solutions before I sawzall this out and replace with a hubless connection?

Many thanks,
BigWo

It being only 2", I'd go with a donut on this one.

What you want is called a 'Ty-Seal' manufactured by Tyler Pipe.

OK - Thanks.

So donut into the cast, pvc stub into donut w/adapter on other end and I can thread my 3-way onto that? I'm assuming I'll have to use pvc smaller than 2" into the donut.

Thanks again.
