Question: If I put down weed and feed will that chase away the worms (night crawlers) in my yard?
I have hundreds of worms in my lawn when it rains, and I collect them for fishing. I also know no one has put any chemicals down on the lawn for years. I would like to kill off the weeds but was wondering if putting anything down would chase the worms away to better ground. Or is there a type of weed and feed I should use?

Weed and feed shouldn't chase away the worms... but if you grow a thicker lawn it may be harder to find them when it rains. One of the evidences of worms in the soil (I'm sure you know this) is the little dirt mounds they leave when the come to the surface. I have tons of them in my lawn which I fertilize regularly.
