My windows xp won't start up, it gets up to the point where its "VERYFYING THE DMI POOL DATA".. then intstantly its restarts and every single time it only reaches that point and keeps on restarting.. (Im using a P2, 350 MHz. Geforce 2, Windows XP, 2 HD, of 20 GB and 4.6 GB.)

The things I have tried are things like using the windows xp install disk to run the setup and then using the repair mode and I tried various things in this setting... I also tried looking for flaws in the system setup... but I failed to fix the problem..
Can someone please help?

First I would see if the system will boot into Safe Mode. If it does, then your problem is software related as opposed to being a MB or hard drive issue. In this case you would need to reinstall Windows to repair this issue. Hopefully, you have backups of your data but if the data is not crucial, then just format the drive and reinstall Windows as it is very likely that your registry is corrupted to a point that cannot be repaired by using the Repair Option in XP.
