Hi Folks:

I am felon and been taking paralegal classes what are my chances of getting any work.
I have talked to a couple of Lawyer and they told me that I would have to prove myself within the area I am working(maybe get bonded-www.bonds4jobs.com). Also, I meet someone who went to prison and paralegal studies was one of the occupation-training that was available to the inmates, does anyone know of that training? One last thought one of the attorney told the lawyer do not fear felons.

Paralegal work is something that is needed, and used, by all types of attorneys. You may find that work in civil cases is just as interesting (and usually more profitable) as work in criminal cases. I believe that if you are honest... hard working... and willing to learn... any legal organization may be willing to try you out. Look into an internship, maybe... or a entry level position as a filing clerk. Also... legal aid clinics that provide non-profit services can always use help. Consider volunteer work (it has a great learning experience benefit) and it'll be good for your resume.

Put the past behind you and forge ahead, my friend.
