Fortune Magazine recognized Rep. Elise Stefanik on its “40 under 40” list this year.
The magazine says it highlighted 40 influential people working in the realms of finance, technology, healthcare, government, politics, and media and entertainment.
“Rep. Elise Stefanik, one of the youngest woman elected to Congress, recognizes that the GOP has a woman problem, and as a rising star in the party, she’s using her influence and resources to correct it,” the magazine wrote.
The publication highlighted Stefanik’s launch of Elevate PAC. The organization helps support Republican female candidates in primary elections.

Trump nominated her to be US Ambassador to the UN . He later withdrew the nomination because the Dems were slow walking it ;and Trump decided he needed her to stay in the House to shore up the Repub majority and to pass the Big Beautiful Bull.
She later announced she would resign from the House to run for Guv of NY. With the encouragement of Trump. NY Guv Kathy Hochul is slow walking a special election to replace her .
She would've liked to have Trump return her loyalty . She was running an aggressive campaign for the job.
But for Trump loyalty is a 1 way street.
Geezer 70 year old Bruce Blakeman, the Nassau County Executive on Long Island, announced his run for the GOP Guv nomination .At that point Trump could've endorse her and ended a primary then and there.
He waffled and said he liked both of them ;guaranteeing a bloody lengthy and expensive primary campaign.
Friday she left the race, despite having raised $12 million, and getting the support of many key NY Repubs.
However, as we have seen in past elections, while we would have overwhelmingly won this primary, it is not an effective use of our time or your generous resources to spend the first half of next year in an unnecessary and protracted Republican primary, especially in a challenging state like New York. .”
