And SNAP ;just like that 12% of the people in the US will starve because food stamp programs are out of funds due to the Schumer shut down. 42 million starving people !!! (Guess their plan to pay for illegal alien's health care didn't fly )

All it would take to reverse this is for Schmucky direct the Dems to pass the CR to keep the government working.

SNAP beneficiaries are key constituents of the Dems. They outnumber other constituents the Dems champion like transformers . If SNAP recipients were all one nation they would exceed the populations of Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine combined .

13 times the Senate Dems have voted down a CR of a budget the Dems created . It's one thing to deny paychecks to the military and to air traffic controllers . But to keep parents of starving kids from buying Fruit Loops ?? Where is their compassion ? Where is their empathy ?

Or a more practical question. If the Dems don't deliver then why should their constituents on the Dem plantation continue to support them ?

Hey Schmucky for that matter if the US wasn't paying nearly a $ trillion annual interest on the debt the US could pay off the annual budget for SNAP 10X.

As usual Senator Fetterman is the voice of reason

Rhode Island, U.S. District Judge John J. McConnell and U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani(both appointed by the emperor ) ruled yesterday the government must pay SNAP benefits even though the money is not available due to the shut down. There is a $5.3 billion emergency fund . If used it will last less than a month. The intent of the fund is the provide assistance during an emergency or in a shutdown, So this buys the program perhaps a week or 2

What did the Dems get for the misery and economic damage caused by their bribe attempt ? Nothing. There will be a debate about Obamacare subsidies that could've happened in Congress 40 days ago.

“After 40 days as a consistent voice against shutting our government down, I voted YES for the 15th time to REOPEN,” “I’m sorry to our military, SNAP recipients, gov workers, and Capitol Police who haven’t been paid in weeks.”
“It should’ve never come to this. This was a failure,”

(Senator John Fetterman )

Word to Repubs. The weakness of 'repeal and replace 'has been that no alternative plan has been offered to "replace" . It is past time to do so and to make the case for it.
