I quit
(It's a sickness) You couldn't quit if you tried.

I have always enjoyed reading your posts.
You are a straight shooter... But you're in way too deep, my friend.

I opened and will open to this page to reference comments and links I made . You are right . Posting in a group chat that no one comments on is a sickness. All the more reason to go cold turkey.

That's one way to approach it. What does it matter? You know what is going on in the world today from a political standpoint... the current political climate in the world is well acquainted with you... It has you by the balls!

Hearing you, and all that is happening in the world today, I can tell that we are headed in the wrong direction... The writing is on the wall.

There may be no relationship between "what we know" and what we are willing to experience. Perhaps we can now compare it with the political going ons in the Kingdom of Heaven to understand what's necessary to move forward.

Being that everything is going to pass away... all the stars will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree". Revelation 6:14 similarly says, "The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place". It all dies. All is going to die. It will be as if it never existed.
Therefore, We know nothing. What we know about existence is knowing the nothingness of the nothingness from which creation was derived, creating something from nothing. The only thing we know of existence is the nothingness of that which creation has come out of, creating something from nothing. Example: What is a woman? We will create our own idea of what a woman should be based on what we see and experience.

Unlike God (righteousness), we are so far removed from God (righteousness) that we cannot even begin to comprehend it. All we know for sure is that there is a Kingdom that will rule over all other kingdoms of this World... and it is inside us. From a Christian standpoint, the only thing we can be certain of is that a kingdom exists within us that will reign over all others.

When it doesn't come from God, it's nothing.
If God isn't involved, it's all for nothing.
Without God, all is meaningless.

AI/Grok (I guess that's you and me, the whole of humanity rolled into one fat head) can not tell us anything we don't already know... And we know nothing. Isn't it great? It was out of nothing that we were made into something by God.

Our lives are a reflection of God, and in all, GOD is everything, and we should see ourselves as nothing in comparison.

This was found when I was searching the web.

Sorry Tom, but I have been distracted the past couple of months. Wife is seriously ill and my day is largely occupied with trying to take care of her. Emotions are really out of whack.

I hope you don't quit. People look at your posts. They largely don't comment on them, but the stats show you are being read. Hope you stick with it. Your posts are all that's left on this site.

For Walter. "Therefore, We know nothing.: You just contradicted yourself. You claim we know nothing. If that is true, then we know that we know nothing, and therefore your statement is false.

Some of us don't realize that what we know is nothing; all we know is nothing. There's "nothing" too big or too small for God, that "nothing" that he is not. The "Nothing" that God is not there for no one to handle, no matter how big or small. Knowing what you don't know, you will be able to understand that God sees even nothing as something. We are Dirt. sometimes referred to as a rock. Does a rock know anything... does dirt? Is AI capable of knowing anything that we don't already know... or capable of knowing? That's why we are to die to self. we are an empty vessel. The potter and the clay. We must first understand who we are and where we come from before reaching out to Jesus. God became something that he was not... GOd is everything and nothing at the same time. just as He is weak and he is strong. Ask the Muslims: when thinking of a man being God, they say, What a weak God. That is exactly right! How strong does God have to be for you to give yourself over to him? That's why we win for losing. Angels Are Brilliant, they know, oh, they know! What do we know? We can't even look at Righteousness... much less know anything about it. If we think we know we are in error. Righteousness is to be lived. We are commanded to live (not know) righteous lives. When you ask, "God show me the way," you are setting yourself up for a fall. God can show you the way, but you can never walk it.

No worries, even if you is ignant, God can work a miracle. We is all ignant when it comes to the things of God.

@jlisenbe - He is trying to get over it. It is all meaningless. He has seen the light. let hime be. Here you want him to take another dive into the pit of Hell?

all we know is nothingIn which case you are claiming to know something. You are claiming to know that all we know is nothing. It is a self-defeating statement. Even worse, you might claim that you know nothing, but you certainly cannot claim that WE know nothing. You don't know what others know.

All meaningless? I might agree with that if I was an atheist. However, with Christ, suddenly the world becomes filled to overflowing with meaning, a tidal wave of meaning.

In which case you are claiming to know something. You are claiming to know that all we know is nothing.
Exacly!

I'll write it a variety of ways so that you might better understand.

The only thing we know is the nothingness from which all creation has arisen.
It is the nothingness of Creation that we know.

In the beginning, there was nothing, and now all of Creation arises from this nothingness.

From which all of Creation emerged, we know nothing but nothingness.

Our only knowledge is the nothingness that has given birth to everything.

What you think you know isn't true.
There is no truth in what you think you know.
The truth is, what you think you know isn't true.
In reality, what you think you know is incorrect.

Have you ever thought of anything original?
Do you think you have or could have an original thought?

Only God knows all. If God knows our every thought... then what is it that you know that God doesn't Already know?

Does what you think you know match what God knows?
Is what you think you know identical to what God knows?
Do you know the same as God?
Do you truly believe what you believe that you know matches what God knows?
Is what you think you know equal to what God knows?
Is what you believe you know the same as what God knows?
Are what you think you know and what God knows the same?
Could you tell me if what you think you know is the same as what God knows?
Could it be the same way God knows as you think you do?
Are the truths you think you know the same as those God knows?
Do you think that what you believe you know is the same as what God knows?

We Don't even know what reality is. Reality is subjective, shaped by the limits of our senses, consciousness, and perceptions. It is truly unknowable.

We know that our life is nothing... meaningless. Thats why we are to die to self.
It is the life of Christ Jesus that is real. His life is the only life. There is no other life.

As a result of our separation from God, we have no inkling of what is really going on. Our separation from God makes us incapable of understanding reality.

God's breath has birthed life into Dirt (nothing). He created a body for Jesus, that is all. The rest of us all (dirt) need gain that same life. For those who don't know or accept His life, will remain in the nothingness of time... Dead for all time.

@jlisenbe, You're too much of a know-it-all. It seems you perceive God's word in a legalistic light. Every move, every word is understood as a law.

Jesus did not have to be Obedient to the Law... Because he is Lord of all. The obedience he rendered to the Law was for us.

First you said, "Some of us don't realize that what we know is nothing." Now you say, "The only thing we know is the nothingness from which all creation has arisen." So at first we knew nothing, but now we do know one thing (The ONLY thing). At least you're heading in the right direction. But I will point out again that all you can really say is what YOU know (or don't know). You can't make claims as to what other people know.

You claim, "In the beginning, there was nothing." But Genesis says, "In the beginning God created...", so God was there at the beginning. John 1 says, "In the beginning was the Word..." So either you are right or the Bible is right. Perhaps you meant that there was nothing material, or nothing aside from God? That would certainly be a more sensible claim.

Walter, much of what I post is intended to make you (and others) think about what you are saying. I do appeal to the Bible as my source of authority. I certainly don't want to come across as a know it all. There are many things I don't know.

Concerning the issue of thinking about what you are saying, there is, for instance, this. You claimed, "Reality is subjective, shaped by the limits of our senses, consciousness, and perceptions." But then you say, "It is truly unknowable". If it is unknowable, then how can you claim to know so much about it? How, for instance, can you say it is subjective if it is truly unknowable? How could you know it is subjective?

Or again, you claimed, "God's breath has birthed life into Dirt (nothing)." But dirt is something and not nothing, so you are coming across as confused.

And again, you stated, "As a result of our separation from God, we have no inkling of what is really going on." But you claim to know a great deal about what is going on. Are you in some way separate and superior to the rest of us?

I think you are trying to say some things that are accurate but are so poorly worded as to be not sensible.

The only thing we know of existence is the nothingness of that which creation has come out of, creating something from nothing.

"Nothing" is just a word; there is nothing in nothing (no substance)... There is no substance in nothing; everything is just a word... "Nothing" is just a word. Jesus being God's Word... God's Word will live forever. You see, we are the embodiment of such words as "Nothing." There is no life in what we speak. Our voice, our lives, our entire existence amounts to nothing unless His Word lives in us. The only thing we know about existence is knowing the nothingness of the nothingness from which creation was derived, creating something from nothing.

God created man, and out of man came His Word, specifically Jesus, the Son of Man... In man, God breathed the breath of life, and out of man came the embodiment of God's Word, aka Jesus the Christ.

Isaiah 55:8-9 explicitly states that God's thoughts and ways are not man's thoughts and ways, emphasizing the vast difference between divine and human understanding. Specifically, the verse says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord".
This passage highlights that God's perspective and plans are far beyond human comprehension.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Man received the Breath of Life Jesus caught the Word that was within God's breath, giving life.

To speak a word (in Greek) is to think. Those in Christ are just one little brain cell in the mind of God?

"Nothing" is just a wordYou said dirt was "nothing". That's not true. Go out and get a handful of dirt and see if you are holding nothing or something.

Jesus caught the Word that was within God's breath, giving life.Pretty speculative. It's an idea found nowhere in the Bible. I'm not even sure what you mean by saying He "caught the word". What does that mean?
