It took a week but Trump's new press sec. Karoline Leavitt held her first press conference today. She made some changes from the Clueless Joe's pressers .

2 seats in the front that were occupied by KJPs staffers will now be filled by representatives of the 'new media' . They will get the first questions ;a spot that was reserved for AP .
Axios' Mike Allen got the first question followed by Matthew Boyle of Breitbart .

The Trump press office is restoring 440 credentials of reporters that Joe has revoked .

'We welcome independent journalists, podcasters, social media influencers and content creators to apply for credentials to cover this White House,'
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt holds her first briefing with reporters — 1/28/25 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KAyEbv9QJY)
(about the 7:40 mark of the video)

Trump gave her a brief statement about the NJ drones....... nothing to see here . They were FAA authorized research flights and curiosity seekers who flew personal drones when it became newsworthy . uh huh

When the AP reporter got around to a question the reporter asked if she would tell the truth at the podium. Nice .

She gave a knock out response.

'I commit to telling the truth from this podium every single day. I commit to speaking on behalf of the president of the United States. That is my job,' 'And I will say it's very easy to speak truth from this podium when you have a president who has implemented policies that are wildly popular with the American people - and that is exactly what this administration is doing.'
'It's correcting the lies and the wrongs of the past four years,' 'Many of the lies that have been told to your faces in this very briefing room.'
'I will not do that,' 'But since you brought up truth-speak, I would like to point out, while I vow to provide the truth from this podium, we ask that all of you in this room hold yourselves to that same standard.'

BAM !!!!

Mark Cuban said that Trump doesn't surround himself with strong intelligent women. I hope he was watching .

Love this line when she was asked about the price of eggs

“In 2024, when Joe Biden was in the Oval Office or upstairs in the residence sleeping.... I’m not sure... egg prices increased 65 percent in this country,”

Above I mentioned that the press corp is going to be shaken up to allow more alternate press into the game.

Following the example ;Pete Hegseth completely disrupted the Pentagon permanent press corp.

The NY Slimes , NBC News, NPR and Politico will have to move out of their longtime workspace on Correspondents' Corridor in the Pentagon, under a new Annual Media Rotation Program for Pentagon Press Corps.

“For over a half-century, the Pentagon Press Corps has benefited from working out of individual office spaces that provide coveted and open access to some of the Department’s top military and civilian leaders,” read the memo Pentagon spokesperson John Ullyot sent to the Pentagon Press Association.
“In order to broaden access to the limited space of the Correspondents’ Corridor to outlets that have not previously enjoyed the privilege and journalist value of working from physical office space in the Pentagon, beginning February 14, 2025,” Ullyot wrote, there will be “a new Annual Media Rotation Program for those dedicated media spaces.”

Pentagon removes major media outlets, including NBC News, from dedicated workstations as part of a new 'rotation program' (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/pentagon-removes-major-media-outlets-nbc-news-dedicated-workstations-p-rcna190276)

The compliant press is in a frenzy. But the truth is that the administration is responding to new realities . The compliant press has lost much of it's influence to other press outlets and alternative media. Why should the compliant press get the only seats media inside of government ?

Trump may have had more interaction with the Press than Clueless Joe had his entire term . He compares with FDR as far as access
