Hearings for his nomination have not begun ;and yet his presence is having a positive effect.

The FDA finally got around to banning Red Dye #3 from foods .

What is Red 3?

Red 3 is a petroleum-based synthetic food dye that gives foods and drinks a bright, cherry-red color.

Red No. 3 ban: What to know about foods containing the dye - ABC News (https://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Wellness/red-3-dye-foods/story?id=117751867)

1990 they banned it in cosmetics because of the cancer risk . But hey for 30+ years it was considered safe to ingest it ?????? RFK Jr has for years campaigned against that and about 1,000 other chemicals that make it into out food chain that have already been banned in Europe.

But it aint Kennedy Oh no ....... the FDA never got around to it because they did not have the resources to test it .

FDA Commissioner Robert Califf was asked at a Senate hearing in December why the dye had not been banned. He said the FDA hasn't been given the resources to do the kind of post-market monitoring of substances done in Europe, where it has been largely banned since 1994.

FDA bans use of Red No. 3 dye in food, drinks - Good Morning America (https://www.goodmorningamerica.com/wellness/story/fda-bans-red-3-dye-food-117699515)

For 30 years they have known it's harmful effects and they only got around to banning it on the eve of Kennedy hearings.

Oh and as an additional caveat ;the ban doesn't go into effect until after the midterm elections .

This is a concession that allows them to keep Red dye 40 ;another synthetic dye that is used in the country in larger quantities to give food and medicines a pleasant red color but adds NOTHING to the product and has health risks associated with it .

Biden administration seeks last-minute appeal of court loss over fluoride in water

District Court Judge Edward Chen ruled last year that evidence showed fluoride was "hazardous at dosages that are far too close to fluoride levels in the drinking water of the United States," but stopped short of ordering the EPA to ban the practice.

What that means is that the judge knows that the amount of fluoride dumped into American water systems is hazardous .But he does not have the authority under current statutory law to outright ban dumping the chemical into the drinking water .

RFK Jr has campaigned against the practice of adding it into the water supply for years because it has a negative effect on child intellectual development .

Kennedy was banned on social media for his comments about the covid vaccines. He claimed that DNA was being introduced into us with the boosters .
Was that misinformation ?

Well no ;he was right .

The Pfizer mRNA vaccine is contaminated with the plasmid DNA vector that was used as the template for in vitro transcription reaction. this DNA could be the cause of some of the rare but serious side effects like death from cardiac arrest. The DNA can and likely will integrate into the genomes of transfected cells. There is a very real hazard for genome modification of long-lived somatic cells, which could cause sustained autoimmune attack toward that tissue. There is also a theoretical risk of future cancer, depending on the piece of DNA and site of integration

When he was banned by Fakebook he said

In a statement, Kennedy compared Facebook’s actions to government censorship, even though Facebook is a private company that can set and enforce its own rules about misinformation.
“Facebook is acting here as a surrogate for the federal government’s crusade to silence all criticism of draconian government policies,” Kennedy said.

Turns out he was right about the government censorship too.

I am reluctant to support Dems for powerful positions like HHS . But in this case I believe he is urgently needed .

Caroline Kennedy ;daughter of JFK and cousin of RFK Jr ;former Ambassador to Japan under the emperor ;and to Australia under Clueless Joe ; gave a verbal open letter the Senate encouraging them to reject his nomination for HHS Sec.

She claims to love her cousin who she "grew up with" (not true he lived in Massachusetts ;she lived most of her childhood in Greece with mom and Onassis and then in NY ) .

She has some valid critique to consider which she undermines with a clear personal contempt for his despite her claim of closeness.

Caroline Kennedy Urges Senate To Reject Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Nomination | 10 News First (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nryofZuk5Yc)

Is calling him a predator words of love ? Was the accusation of him putting small pets in a blender words of love or even relevant ?

She misrepresents his stand on vaccines as all the Dems do . He never opposed polio vaccines . All he says is that all vaccines have dangerous side effects that need monitoring ;and that some are not needed .

Her off the wall comments will be parroted by the lefty Senators in the committee hearings . His views will be portrayed as dangerous by people who think it is perfectly acceptable for doctors to mutilate minors with surgical and hormonal treatments.

Is he flawed ? Absolutely . I have grave concerns about a man who favors universal health care to be in charge of the agencies that make policy and regulations over health care . I would not be upset if he were not approved.

However if his Make America Healthy Again movement catches on ;he will be a greater servant of the people than any of his Kennedy peers have ever been .

Between Caroline's letter and the way the Dems went bat sh*t crazy during hearings today I sense an air of desperation. It's almost like the K street Big Pharma ,Big food manufacturers ;big Ag ; advocates have their ears. These are the same industries that Kennedy has campaigned against and exposed for years Their pitch to the Senators who used to champion his crusade now whisper to them "what are we giving you all these donations for? "

That being said ; the combined agencies under the HHS umbrellas consume about 25% of every Federal dollar spent. It is hard to advocate for a director with such liberal tendencies as he has had in the past . Still conflicted

testimony today
RFK Jr :

"20 years ago NIH scientists did a study on amyloid on Alzheimer's in which they said it was caused by amyloid plaque. After that NIH shut down studies of any other hypothesis. Twenty years later we now know that those studies were fraudulent. NIH has funded 800 studies on a fraudulent hypothesis and we've lost 20 years in figuring out how to a cure for Alzheimer's. And that's just one example. I could give you hundreds. We need to end that."

'Science' Mag did a six-month investigation that uncovered evidence that images in the much cited study, may have been doctored.

But But But it is "settled science" Because of this 20 years was squandered . Do you know someone who had Alzheimer's ? I did .

The hearings moved into the bizzaro world when Bolshevik Bernie asked him if he supports baby's onesies with political messages on them .

I kid you not .

Bernie Sanders questions RFK Jr. about a baby onesie during Senate confirmation hearing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib4NBqay440)

Me ? I would've asked Bernie if he supports babies being dressed in Antifa onesies.

I think RFK is coming off looking like a loon. His handling of Warren's questions made him look either stupid or that he thinks all of us are too stupid to see through his ruse. Either way, it's not good. For that matter, his handling of Bernie's question about the onesies was poorly done.

I long for the good ole days of Amy Coney Barrett showing many of the senators how dumb they are.

I think by the reaction at the conclusion of the hearing that RFK Jr is probably going to be confirmed .
I suspect the Dem reaction is part a feeling of betrayal and part they are bought by big Pharma-Food .

I think he is not qualified for this position .I think HHS oversees too many agencies anyway. Kennedy would be a good watchdog over ingredients in foods and medicine additives . As an example ;vaccines by themselves are not the problem . It is additives like mercury that are the real issues ....well that and introducing DNA into someone.

He should be no where's near any decision making about Medicare- Medicaid or any other social entitlement system. His instincts are universal health care.

But used properly he is a valuable asset . I remember him from his year of cleaning up the very toxic Hudson River. His work on clean water alone should cement his legacy.

The other concern is how he will administer MAHA . He can set guidelines and ban dangerous ingredients and chemicals while still allowing Americans to make choices.

Hopefully he will not become another nanny Bloomy who dictates the size of the soft drink or how much salt you can add to French fries.
