That’s why my farewell address tonight, I want to warn the country of some things that give me great concern. And this is a dangerous — and that’s the dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very few ultrawealthy people, and the dangerous consequences if their abuse of power is left unchecked. Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead.

That would be people like George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, and Bill Gates who have been feeding the Dem political machine more than 2 decades . What he is complaining about is an"oligarchy" that wants the government to have less control of people .

His real concern is that some of the billionaires have escaped the Democrat machine .

You know, in his farewell address, President Eisenhower spoke of the dangers of the military-industrial complex. He warned us that about, and I quote, “The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power.” Six days — six decades later, I’m equally concerned about the potential rise of a tech-industrial complex that could pose real dangers for our country as well.
Americans are being buried under an avalanche of misinformation and disinformation enabling the abuse of power. The free press is crumbling. Editors are disappearing. Social media is giving up on fact-checking. The truth is smothered by lies told for power and for profit. We must hold the social platforms accountable to protect our children, our families and our very democracy from the abuse of power.


Pure projection on his part. He was not concerned about misinformation or suppressing the truth when his government controlled the narrative and punished people who did not play by his rules. The most positive thing I have seen from his reign is that there is some backlash against the censorship industrial complex that he and the emperor engineered.


We need to get dark money — that’s that hidden funding behind too many campaign contributions — we need to get it out of our politics.

This from the man who gave the Medal of Freedom to George Soros .


Everyone is entitled to a fair shot, not a guarantee, just a fair shot, an even playing field. Going as far as your hard work and talent can take you.


This from a guy who promoted unconstitutional DEI policies throughout his Presidency.

The congenital liar whose career is marked by plagiarism, mendacity and corruption warned of a future in which “the truth is smothered by lies told for power and for profit.”
The man whose family raked in millions from selling his influence to shady oligarchs and Chinese Communist Party entities, who just gave the Presidential Medal of Freedom to ­George Soros, railed against “dark money.”
The speech would not have changed a single mind about Biden’s legacy. Nobody is fooled.
He also released a farewell letter Wednesday, laughably claiming he has left the country “stronger, more prosperous and more secure.”

Four years ago, we stood in a winter of peril and a winter of possibilities. We were in the grip of the worst pandemic in a century, the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, and the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.

Here is the truth


America had largely reopened the previous summer after the spring Covid panic of 2020. The economy had roared back to life. GDP growth rates were high and inflation rates were low. By the time Mr. Biden took office, the United States was enjoying its third straight quarter of robust economic growth—the opposite of a crisis, and in no way comparable to the Great Depression. The tragedy is that if Mr. Biden had simply done nothing, there’s every reason to believe that prosperity would have continued. That first year of the Biden presidency, 2021, would turn out to be by far the best in terms of economic expansion.
But Mr. Biden—or whoever makes decisions in the Biden White House—insisted on a surge in government spending to address the make-believe crisis, ignoring warnings even from prominent Democratic economists. The results included inflation at a 40-year-high, ravaged consumers, and angry voters. Washington’s total public debt has increased by more than $8 trillion during his presidency.

Dan Rather posted on Substack echoing Joe's warnings . It is laughable . He and the other gatekeepers of "truth" in the compliant press have lost their influence and are bitter at social media. I don't recall him ever doing balanced reporting .If there was "fact checking " in his day the "Pinocchios" would've filled the page.
The conceit of the compliant press is unbelievable . SCOTUS when they render a verdict call it an Opinion . Yet their facts are unchallengeable and if they are challenged ;the challenge is rendered false or misinformation by fact checkers .
