May Clueless Joe nominated Judge Embry Kidd of Florida to become an appeals court judge for the 11th Circus Court. During Senate hearings in June it was revealed that his disclosed from the Senate 2 cases where he was lenient to child sex offenders . Both cases were reversed .

Biden judicial nominee failed to disclose since-reversed child sex case rulings - Washington Examiner (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/senate/3051438/biden-judicial-nominee-failed-to-disclose-rulings/)

At the time he came under fire from Repub Senators .
But when it came time to decide ;enough Repub Senators were AWOL from the Senate . He was easily confirmed 49-45 Dems Fetterman did not vote . Joe Manchin voted no.

The nomination could've been rejected 50-49. Except that there were 5 no show Repub Senators . Mike Braun, Steve Daines, Bill Hagerty, Marco Rubio ,and JD Vance had more pressing things to do than to prevent a radical soft on crime judge from being seated in the Court of Appeals .

I get that Rubio has to prepare for his own Senate confirmation hearings . But the 11th Circus is a court that covers Florida the state he still represents. Um this is a lifetime appointment that Floridians will need to deal with . He should've made the time.

Vance claims he was consulting with Trump over a nominee for FBI . As important as that is ;this was equally important. Neither Rubio or an FBI Director will not begin serving in the administration until the end of January. They needed to do the jobs they have now.

This is twice that Vance has missed judicial confirmation votes since he was selected by Trump to be his VP pick.

September an ethically challenged judge ;Kevin Gafford Ritz was approved for the 6th Circus Court in Tennessee by a vote of 48-46 after a contentious Senate confirmation . Dems Manchin was absent and Kyrsten Sinema voted no.
That's 2 lifetime appointed judges that did not need to be confirmed .

There are more lame duck session appointments nominated by Joe on the docket before the end of his term.4 of them are for vacancies at the Court of Appeals .

Trump told Repub Senators to "hold the line " .

He should start with Vance and Rubio .

The other prong of the Dems fork you to Trump's power of judicial appointments is progressive judges who announced they will retire and are now announcing that they will stay on .

This is another deal where the Repubs got caught in a classic Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown scenario .

They made a deal with Schmuck Shumer in November . According to the deal the Repubs would not block Clueless Joe's court picks . In exchange the Dems would hold open 4 circus court vacancies due to retirement.

At issue is 4th Circus Court Judge James Wynn who was to step down. Clueless Joe had selected a libtard that the Repubs had the votes to block .In fact they had the votes to block all 4 . So the deal was a no brainer . Trump was going to get his selections one way or another.

The Repubs kept their end of the bargain. Even though Trump wanted them to act against the fast track confirmations ;they allowed Schmuck to push the nominations through

Then Wynn on 2nd thought decided he was not retiring .

NC Senator Thom Tillis said it right

Judge Wynn's brazenly partisan decision to rescind his retirement is an unprecedented move that demonstrates some judges are nothing more than politicians in robes.

He is not alone .

He is the 3rd judge who backed out of retirement plans now that Trump is to be President again.

“This sort of partisan behavior undermines the integrity of the judiciary. It exposes bold Democratic blue where there should only be black robes,” said McConnell, who played a pivotal role in confirming scores of Trump nominees, including three Supreme Court justices. “It’s hard to conclude that this is anything other than open partisanship.”

To Tillis and Yertle I just say Well duh !!!! what did you expect ???? Since when have the Dems honored their end of a bargain if it doesn't serve their purpose ?

The first time I became aware of this was when Reagan made a deal for amnesty in exchange for tighter border control. He kept his end of the deal . The Dems didn't . Since then it has become as much a routine as Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown

It's therapeutic.
