Children across the nation begin returning from summer break this week .

What changes will greet them in most states ?

Well the Clueless Joe /Kam the Sham adminstration has decided it would be a fine idea to block students of a different gender from using the other gender's bathrooms.

A new rule (https://apnews.com/article/title-ix-sexual-assault-transgender-sports-d0fc0ab7515de02b8e4403d0481dc1e7) from President Joe Biden’s administration blocking blanket policies to keep transgender students from using school bathrooms that align with their gender identity could conflict with laws in Republican-controlled states.
The clash over bathroom policy and other elements of a federal regulation finalized last week could set the stage for another wave of legal battles over how transgender kids should be treated in the U.S.

What to know about new federal rule that blocks transgender school bathroom bans | AP News (https://apnews.com/article/title-ix-transgender-bathroom-bans-645b5564ce227a9efe2c05f883609ae8)

At least 11 states have adopted laws barring transgender girls and women from using girls’ and women’s bathrooms at public schools.
The new regulation opposes those sweeping policies.
It states that sex separation at schools isn’t always unlawful. However, the separation becomes a violation of Title IX’s nondiscrimination rule when it causes more than a very minor harm on a protected individual, “such as when it denies a transgender student access to a sex-separate facility or activity consistent with that student’s gender identity.”

Thankfully here in South Carolina they created laws to protect girls in school from this outrage .

(C)(1) Multi-occupancy public school restrooms and changing facilities shall be designated for use only by members of one sex. Any public school restrooms and changing facilities that are designated for one sex shall be used only by members of that sex; no person shall enter a restroom or changing facility that is designated for one sex unless he or she is a member of that sex; and the public school with authority over that building shall take reasonable steps to ensure that all restrooms and changing facilities provide its users with privacy from members of the opposite sex. The provisions in this item do not apply (a) to custodial or maintenance work when the restroom or changing facility is not being used or otherwise occupied by a member of the opposite sex, (b) to a person or people rendering medical assistance, and (c) during a natural disaster, emergency, or when use of the restroom or changing facility is necessary to prevent a serious threat to good order or student safety.

Forcing women to use the same bathroom as a man is weird .

Forcing women to use the same bathroom as a man is weird .One must first be able to define the terms "woman" and "man". To be unable to do so is exceedingly weird.

SCOTUS blocked enforcement of Clueless Joe's Title IX provisions for now.

For the libs who were concerned that Neil Gorsuch would upend their agenda ....think again

The justices divided 5-4 on whether to temporarily bar the government from enforcing the entire rule. Justice Sonia Sotomayor dissented, joined by Justices Elena Kagan, Neil Gorsuch, and Ketanji Brown Jackson. They called the lower courts’ orders “overbroad.”

Supreme Court blocks temporary enforcement of expanded protections for transgender students - SCOTUSblog (https://www.scotusblog.com/2024/08/supreme-court-blocks-temporary-enforcement-of-expanded-protections-for-transgender-students/)

For now states don't have to comply with gender neutral BS lockers and bathrooms ;and they don't have to allow men posing as women to compete in women's sports (although many Blue states already permit it ) .

You will see reports that SCOTUS ruled against the provisions . This is not the case. It prevented the administration from enforcing the ruling .It also declined the administration's request to enforce the provisions of the edict that were not questioned in the suit .

What this temporary ruling does is allows states to block provisions of the edict . I assume the court will be forced to deal with Joe's edict fully in the future .

Here is the deal in my view . Title IX was enacted by Congress action in the larger Civil Rights Act. It was signed into law by Nixon. The President has no power to change or expand the law. But Clueless Joe took his direction from the emperor and thought he has the power to dictate with a pen and a phone.

If Title IX needs revision it is up to Congress to do so.

For the libs who were concerned that Amy Coney Barrett would upend their agenda...think again

She sided with the libs about enforcing an Arizona election law that would've barred registered voters in the state who have not previously provided proof of citizenship from voting in presidential elections, or by mail in any federal elections. But the court did say that new registered voters had to show ID. However Barrett also voted with the libs that they would've allowed new registrations without ID.
It is unclear who else voted with the libs to allow people already registered a pass about the ID . Probably Roberts

Arizona is a key swing battleground state this election and it's vote in 2020 was contested .

No biggie It's only 42,000 non-citizens. (Clueless Joe won Arizona 2020 by about 11,000 votes )

Trump need not campaign there. The fix is in.
