How do I replace my pull cord on my Toro Recycler Lawn Mower. It appears to have rivets holding it down. Do I really need to unscrew the entire enginge?
Years ago they spot welded where you see rivets and people would continue to look because they Knew there had to be another securing method, now with those stupid rivets people see them and say "not gonna drill out rivets" and quit. There are 2 bolts on the front oppsite side of engine from spark plugs. And there is one above the plug (maybe 2, one above and left and one above and right.

You will remove flywheel housing and acces it that way.

It does have rivets holding it. All plastic has to be removed and then 4 screws hold on metal recoil housing.
