The only abortion clinic in our state closed down yesterday. I was there holding my sign and trying to pass out literature for, hopefully, the last time. It was a great and yet sad day. The true colors of the so-called "Jackson Women's Health Organization", a euphemism if there ever was one, were flying for all to see. Now that their chance for making millions is gone, they are likewise gone. They are moving, I am told, to New Mexico. Good riddance. Do they care about women? No. They care about money. If they cared about women and babies, they would continue to operate as a non-profit like the pro-life facility just a half block away. It has never been my displeasure to meet a more vulgar, profane, careless group of people than the ones associated with this "clinic". We never had much more than a handful of protestors there taking a stand for life, but God stood with us and with the many who prayed faithfully, and He delivered this victory.
I imagine that many women will now become more careful with their sex lives to avoid becoming pregnant. Others will find a way to get to a state where abortion is allowed. Some will deliver babies that would otherwise have been killed. It will all introduce more challenges. The pro-death side will be nowhere to be found to help face those challenges. It will all fall upon the shoulders of those who stand for life. The pro-death side will whine, complain, lie, shift blame, and be the otherwise useless group of people they have always been.
