Any remorse he felt for the pain and damage he did to individuals ,to the people of the state of NY to the people of the US ,the world (yes I still hold him partly responsible for the great recession of 2008 ) was missing . He tried to list his achievements which were no achievements . He even thinks his handling of covid was a great success even as his publisher quit printing his self congratulatory book because he is under Federal investigation for his sending covid patients to nursing homes to infect the elderly .

He tried to be the public servant sage giving NY pols advice on how to reduce taxes and crime as if the huge increases of both did not happen under his watch .

He tried to paint his exit from the stage as the ultimate sacrifice to the people . "You know me, I am a fighter. And my instinct is to fight this.” He was leaving not because he is one step ahead of impeachment .....but because of his love for NY.

It was a disgusting exit performance by a disgusting governor and a disgusting human being . Hopefully a frog march is in his future .

so he escaped impeachment by resigning . But the investigations continued into his misrepresentations about covid deaths in NY nursing homes . The NY Assembly's investigation concluded and a 45 page secret report has been published .

Phil Steck Dem Member of the Assembly's Judiciary Committee has read the report compiled by the New York City law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell. The report confirms that il duce Cuomo misrepresented the number of deaths and manipulated the data presented to the public. The report confirms that the NYDOH wanted to accurately report the deaths .
Steck is quoted as saying “The investigation showed that as they were considering these matters, the book deal was going on, there's a chapter in the book about nursing homes,” “They were trying to make it as what they thought was least damaging to the governor instead of just telling the truth.”

Steck said the report makes "very clear” that il duce Cuomo violated conditions set by the state ethics committee, which had said Cuomo couldn't use state resources or staff on the book .
The investigation found he ordered some state employees to work on the book, and others told the investigators that they volunteered their private time to do so.

Steck said "there wasn’t enough time in the day for it to be voluntary work and for them to still be able to work on official state business.”

Letitia James has suspended her campaign to be NY Guv . She says she is too busy doing her job as prosecutor to campaign. But the truth is that she failed to come up with the $$$ $5million required by the Brooklyn Dems .She is way short of the money needed .So the Brooklyn Dems are going to back current dictator of NY Kathy Hochul .
