My 93 f-150 starts fine when the motor is cold but if the truck is already warm the only way to start it is to hold the pedal to the floor. Could this be that the relay for the fuel pump is not shutting off at proper fuel pressure and is flooding the motor?

Maybe fuel pressure regulator is leaking
Mounted on fuel rail under the hood... depending on eng size 4.9 on right side, 5.0 and 5.8 is on left rear I think...
Anyway its on the fuel rail and is sort of round. It has a vacume line coming off it
When it goes bad fuel will come out of this vacume port and flood engine,, may also run rich
