i am useing taxact, they did a schedule 3, they did not do a schedule D, or 8449, as was done in the past for my investments, etc, is the schedule 3 ok ?

Was there any stock trading?

i bought some and sold some stock and mutual funds
when i viewed the fed return befor paying or sending, i noticed they did not use a d or 8949
maybe they just dont show it in the view ?
last year they did a D, no 8949
4200.00 in orinary div, should they be useing a schedule B ??

To get TaxAct to generate the Schedule D and Form 8949, you need to enter the stock and mutual fund SALES using Form 1099-B.
