I want to know which AC is best in terms of less energy consumption and a high star rating.
And the price of Air Conditioner is also affordable.

Window air conditioners are usually sized at 20 BTU's per square foot, so a 5000 BTU unit should cool about 250 square feet for example. When shopping look for the unit with the highest SEER rating (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating). I saw some 5000 BTU units for $125-150 listed on-line at Wal-Mart.
