The hot water in my bathroom suddenly stopped working. All of the other bathrooms and sinks work fine except for the shower. The faucet is a single, not the 2 knobs. I recently moved into the house. Can anyone figure out how to fix this?

Is this a stand alone shower stall or a tub shower? It is likely the hot side of your valve has plugged with scale or crud. Shut off the water main and remove the handle on the valve. Remove the bezel and you should see a hex shaped ring that can be unscrewed. Remove the valve or cartridge and inspect. Have a friend open and close the main for just a second while you hold a towel over the opening. Remove debris from the valve or cartridge and try to blow air through the valve. If you can't blow any air you may want to consider buying a new cartridge. Can't be more specific because I don't know what model you have.
