 I recently gave birth to my first child and I am heavier than I use to be. Since I gave birth I have noticed that I smell different down there than I use to. I went to the doctor thinking I had an infection and it came back negative. What can I take to stop vaginal odor that is over the counter?

Girl, pregnancy is a disease your body never gets over! Keep fresh wipes to use after urinating (in addition to your toilet paper). There are also powders made for women that will obsorb wetness and odor.
I had the same problem after first child and it was partially due to a "wee" bit of incontinence.

Congrats on the new baby! Your body has changed, just like it did when you went from a girl to a woman, and then everything went hay wire! But in time it all calmed down. Just like now you body just needs time to get back to normal, the odor your expericencing is probably your bodies hormores. With time your hormones will go back to normal and the odor will fade. One way to help speed this process is to groom your pubic area, it will keep it cooler and sweat less. A feminine powder or spray can also help, this will keep away moisture like deodorant. Also eat less beef, beef tends to increase body odor. Eat more fish. Drink lots of water, this will make your sweat less concentrated and stink less. Keep the area clean try an antibacterial body wash. Sleep with no under wear on and loose fitting pjs. Wear cotton underwear. If you have had the same underwear for a while discard and buy new ones, white if possible and wash then in hot water and lite bleach every other load, this will keep the bacteria down in your underwear. Hope this helps!
