Old receiver shorted out. Got replacement receiver (identical) and installed it.
Remote does not work. There are no dip switches. How do I sync the Remote to the receiver? Note: If I bypass the receiver and put 110 straight to the light wires the light comes on.

Remove the receiver box cover to look at the dip switch settings. You will see four sliding buttons. The button configuration must match the remote control's configuration. Change the dip switch settings if necessary, moving each of the four switches to the matching "On" or "Off" settings.

You located the dip switches on the old box right?
