Can you wire a three wire circuit using two three way dimmer switches. One on each end. Source on one end and light on the other end. I have wired the circuit correctly using the copper lug on each end with the feed going to one end and to the light on the other end. They are three way dimmers.. As soon as I remove the dimmer on the feed end and replace it with a normal three way switch, everything works just fine.

Please show us the model of 3-way dimmer that you are using. The issue with "standard" dimmers is that in a 3-way circuit you end up with 2 dimmers in series - but they are not designed to work that way. If you want to be able to dim the light independently from either switch location you will need to purchase a 3-way digital dimmer system, such as this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Lutron-Maestro-C-L-Dimmer-Kit-for-Dimmable-LEDs-Incandescent-and-Halogen-Bulbs-Single-Pole-3-Way-Multi-Location-White-MACL-153M-RHW-WH/203486520 This system has the ability for the switches to communicate with each other so that they work together properly.
