Hey it's all about kilojoule intake. Look at food labels and I promise you if you exercise a little bit everyday and eat no more than 6000kj per day you WILL lose weight! Please try it. The only way you put on weight is by eating too many kilojoules and not burning them off, they turn to fat. Once you've lost the weight, eat no more than your daily recommended kilojoule intake for a female. This will stop you from putting the weight back on. Eat whatever you want, as long as you stay under 6000kj per day.
Good luck!

If you lose weight too fast - more than 2lb per week you will just end up putting it straight back on (and some). Also at you're age you'll be growing upward so you may lose fat but still weigh the same - so don't be disinhearten by that. Just eat a balanced diet and exercise for at least 30 minutes per day. Talk to your mum about going on a healthy eating plan, think of it as a lifestyle change rather thatn a diet- that way you will become a healthy weight for your height as you grow. Not an instant fix I know but you'll have better, healthier results in the end. Good luck

Drugs are not the answer for a thirteen year old!! Especially noradrenaline, serotonin and dopamine reuptake inhibitors - what were you thinking!

Listen the true answer is to eat healthy, natural foods, like whole grains breads, pasta, rice, eat fruits and veggies, and lean meats, like turkey breasts, chicken loin type meats. Baked or broiled. Next cut out processed foods, fast foods, sweets, like cookies, cakes and fried foods. Cut out soda and presweetened drinks, and drinks lots of water, and you must exercise, 30-60 minutes, 4-5 X a week, jog, bike, walk, dance, aerobics, weight/resistance training but you have to move your body, If you work on nutrition-portion control and exercise and lose 2-3 pounds a week your doing good. It takes work and patience, but you can do it!
