Okay so I saw this movie around 2005 or so when I was young. I saw it at xmas time, but I'm not sure if it's a normal or a christmas movie.
Its acted, not cartoon/animated. The main character is a little boy. He gets a gift at the end of the movie or something.
The part I know is that he is on a train with his mother and his sister, going somewhere and then gets off from the train, alone.
There was a dialog going like
Sister: "mom what was that last stop"
"i dont know, why?"
"because brother got off on it".
Anyway it's a family movie and the plot is basic. Little boy gets chased by thieves/bad guys. I do remember him having something magical toy that would give answers/change his options/or something. It was something small that fit in his pocket.
And I don't remember were the bad guys chasing him to get that toy or because of smtn else. Anyway my sister cant recall anything else either, and this has been bothering us for like 5 years. Super vague I know, but hope someone could help.
